The Voter Registration office is in charge of maintaining the record of registered voters in Steuben County. If you are not sure of your voting location please call our office.
Voters can register to vote or pick up the mail-in forms at any of the following locations:
- in the voter registration office
- at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles
- most Government offices
April 5, 2010: Voter Registration closes for the 2010 Primary Election.
April 5, 2010: First day to vote absentee in the Clerk's Office (Steuben County Court
House) for the Primary Election. Please call (260)668-1000 ext 2220
for hours of absentee voting.
April 26, 2010: Last day to receive a mailed, hand-delivered or facsimile transmitted
absentee ballot application from a voter who requests to vote by
mail. For confined voters please call (260)668-1000 ext 2220.
May 3, 2010 at NOON: Last day to absentee vote in the Clerk's Office.
May 4, 2010: Primary Election Day (polls are open 6:00 am to 6:00 pm)
May 18, 2010: First day after the Primary Election that an individual may register to
vote.
