The laws occasionally change as to requirements so please contact our office. Please make sure to read the instructions on the passport application.
- All travelers must have their own passport.
- Applications can be obtained at the Clerk’s Office or at the U. S. Department of State
- You will need to bring two 2” by 2” identical regulation passport photos. Photos taken at home are not acceptable.
- Bring valid picture ID (driver’s license)
- You will also need a certified copy (with raised seal) of your birth certificate from the county you were born in.
- Please DO NOT sign the passport application until you are in the office.
Fees effective February 1, 2008
Passport Book
Adult (age 16 and over) $100.00 Bring either $100.00 in cash or $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check in the amount of $75.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.
Children/Minors (under 16 years of age) $85.00 Bring either $85.00 in cash or $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check in the amount of $60.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.
Passport Card
See the U.S. Department of State for information about when and where a passport card may be used.
Adult (age 16 and over) $45.00 Bring either $45.00 cash or $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check in the amount of $20.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State. Adults with a fully valid passport book do not have to pay the $25.00 processing fee.
Children/Minors (under 16 years of age) $35.00 Bring either $35.00 cash or $25.00 cash for processing fee and a check in the amount of $10.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State.
To expedite a passport application: There is an additional fee of $60.00 made out to the U.S. Department of State to expedite a passport.
